We are partnering with a range of state and local government clients to support them in recruiting for administration, customer service and finance support roles across the Sunshine Coast and Noosa region.
About the Role
We regularly regularly recruit for contract roles across a variety of government departments and councils. Roles are typically full time, around 36 hours per week, however part-time hours or nine-day fortnight arrangements are occasionally offered depending on the position. Contract lengths vary depending on the role, and these positions typically move quickly, so early application is encouraged. Pay rates range from $35 to $55/hr + super, depending on role level and experience.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support and quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Managing correspondence, records, registers and business systems
- Supporting scheduling, coordination and day-to-day office or operational functions
- Assisting with finance support tasks such as data entry,
invoicing or reconciliation, depending on the role
- Working within relevant policies, procedures and, in some roles, legislative requirements
About You
You'll be a good fit for one of our current or upcoming roles if you have:
- Experience in administration, customer service or finance support, ideally within a government or regulated environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across a range of stakeholders
- High-level computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Sound judgement, initiative and the ability to work well within a team
Highly Regarded
- Local government or state government experience
- Certificate III/IV in Business Administration or a related discipline
