Service Supervisor - Off Highway

We are seeking an experienced Service Supervisor - Off Highway to lead and support a team of technicians within a busy and growing service operation. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical expertise, leadership capability, and business acumen to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable service delivery while maintaining a strong customer focus.

About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading workshop and field service activities, mentoring technicians and team leaders, and driving improvements across safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and coordinating service operations to maximise workshop efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Driving a strong culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Managing technician workloads and resource allocation across workshop and field service activities.
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing employees to achieve individual and team success.
- Monitoring and improving key performance measures including labour utilisation, WIP management, warranty processes, and service quality.
- Supporting recruitment, performance management, and workforce development initiatives.
- Ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting, and financial performance of the department.
- Building strong customer relationships and delivering outstanding service experiences.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives and training programs across the service team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- A relevant trade qualification.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the heavy vehicle, diesel engine, mining, construction, or related industries.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing technical teams.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Sound understanding of service department financial performance and operational metrics.
- The ability to interpret technical product information and support effective troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
