Allcott Hire, a leading equipment hire company, is seeking a motivated and reliable Yardperson to join our team in Seven Hills, NSW. As a Yardperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our yard, focusing on the efficient storage, maintenance and distribution of our diverse range of equipment. This full-time position is an integral part of our business, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

What you’ll be doing

1. Receiving, storing and maintaining a wide variety of equipment in the yard
2. Preparing and loading equipment for customer deliveries and collections
3. Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
4. Assisting with the organisation and cleanliness of the yard
5. Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients
6. Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we’re looking for

1. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
2.



Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
3. Valuable communication and customer service skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Must have a forklift licence and experience operating a forklift would be highly advantageous
