Our Branch
Construction is responsible for delivering a range of infrastructure projects, such as civil construction and road network maintenance. The Construction branch carries out essential activities including asphalt production, paving, and overseeing major projects.
The Role
As a Planner Estimator Structures, you will play a key role in the planning, scheduling and coordination of construction and maintenance activities across Brisbane's bridges, cross-river assets and other critical structures. Working within a collaborative project delivery environment, you will support the successful execution of infrastructure projects by developing schedules, coordinating resources, monitoring project progress and providing analytical insights that drive effective decision-making.
Partnering closely with project managers, construction teams and stakeholders, you will contribute to the safe, efficient and timely delivery of maintenance and capital works programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional who enjoys balancing technical analysis, project coordination and stakeholder engagement while helping to maintain essential infrastructure for the community.
To be successful you will have:
- experience in planning, estimating and scheduling maintenance or construction works
- robust project coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- the ability to analyse information and provide practical solutions to support project delivery
- strong communication skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
- knowledge of maintenance planning processes and work management systems
- experience working within civil, structural or infrastructure maintenance environments
- proficiency in SAP, Microsoft project or similar planning and scheduling systems.
