About the Role
Step into a rewarding leadership role where you will support and guide nursing or midwifery teams, strengthen quality care and help shape a positive ward, unit or service. You’ll work closely with the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager to build capable teams and deliver consistent, patient-centred care.
- Lead and support nurses or midwives to deliver safe, high-quality care
- Build team capability through guidance, support and staff development
- Promote consistent, continuous care across the ward, unit or service
- Support practice change and improvements to patient care
- Assist with recruitment, staffing, rosters, performance and resources
About You
You are a capable and compassionate nursing or midwifery leader, ready to guide teams, support change and help deliver person and family-centred care.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold registration as a Nurse or Midwife with NMBA
- Bring relevant nursing or midwifery practice and leadership experience
- Lead with strong communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Build capable teams and foster a positive, collaborative workplace
- Understand contemporary standards, safety, ethics and health care issues
