Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to lead clinical practice, mentor junior staff, and contribute to service development. This role suits a confident, autonomous clinician who values patient-centred care, strong clinical reasoning, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. You will manage a varied caseload, take responsibility for complex presentations, and support growth initiatives within the practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, diagnose, and deliver evidence-based treatment for musculoskeletal and sports injuries.
- Manage complex and high-risk patients with advanced clinical reasoning and treatment planning.
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior physiotherapists and students.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical protocols and practice systems.
- Maintain accurate patient records, follow compliance and health record standards,



and ensure high-quality documentation.
- Engage in mixed billing practices, balancing private and Medicare or private health claims professionally and ethically.
- Participate in community outreach and patient education initiatives as required.

Skills and Experience
- Degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience in private practice, with senior-level skills preferred.
- Advanced musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy competencies; clinical specialisation is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, teach, and lead within a clinical team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with mixed billing, private health claims, and practice software systems.
- Current CPR, first aid, and other mandatory clinical certifications.
