Urgent requirement of IS Retail Functional Consultant - Contract - Sydney

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

- Lead retail application implementation and support activities.

Work on retail business processes including:

- Merchandising, Inventory Management

- Pricing & Promotions, Point of Sale (POS)

- Order Management, Supply Chain & Warehouse Operations

- Omnichannel Retail

- Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution demonstrations.

- Prepare functional design documents (FDD), BRD, user stories, and process flows.

- Coordinate with technical and integration teams during implementation.

- Support SIT, UAT, defect management, and production deployment.

- Provide post-production support and issue resolution.

- Collaborate with offshore and onsite teams in agile delivery environments.





- Ensure compliance with Australian retail business standards and operational processes.

Required Experience :

- 6+ years of experience in Retail Functional Consulting

- Experience working with large retail enterprises

- Exposure to end-to-end implementation/support projects

- Experience with Australian or APAC retail clients preferred

- Solid stakeholder and client management experience

Technical Skills :

- SAP IS-Retail / Oracle Retail / Manhattan / JDA / Blue Yonder (depending on project)

- SQL basics and data analysis

- Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow

- API/integration understanding

- Agile/Scrum methodologies

Duration: 06 Months and possible extension
