Manage and support the veterinary nursing team
Mentor, train, and develop nurses across all experience levels
Build a positive and collaborative team culture
Support veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, and procedures
Undertake surgical nursing, pathology, hospital nursing, and team-based consulting
Provide emergency and critical care nursing support when required
Manage stock and inventory
Support workflow management and operational efficiency
Assist with administrative and reception duties when required
Handle client enquiries in person, by phone, and via email
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs alongside the Practice Manager
Identify opportunities to improve processes and clinic performance
Remain actively involved in hands-on nursing and patient care
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
- Minimum of 3+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experience
- Leadership, mentoring, or senior nursing experience, or readiness to step into a leadership role
- Strong surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Solid communication and customer service skills
- Experience with RxWorks is desirable but not essential
- Calm, friendly, empathetic,
and professional approach
