St Justin's is a new Catholic Primary School in the Diocese of Wollongong. Kindergarten to Year 6 serving the Oran Park Parish with an enrolment of approximately 833 pupils.

Location: St Justin's Catholic Parish Primary School, Oran Park

n

Permanent and several temporary full time and part time K-6 teaching positions are available at St Justin's Catholic Primary School, Oran Park. The temporary positions will commence on 28 January 2027 until 26 January 2028.

n

The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.

n

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

- Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
n
- Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
n
- Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning across all Key Learning Areas.
n
- Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
n
- Implement effective teaching strategies in Literacy and Numeracy.
n
- Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.




n
- Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K–6.
n
- Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
n
- The applicant must be accredited with NESA to teach in NSW.
n

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE

n

This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
