The Role
n
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced projects and construction lawyer to join a high-performing and collaborative legal team.
n
Reporting to senior legal leadership and working closely with executive stakeholders, this role will take ownership of a broad range of projects, construction, procurement and infrastructure matters supporting the development, delivery and operation of large-scale data centre assets.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Lead the negotiation, drafting and management of major project and procurement agreements, including EPC contracts, design-build agreements, master services agreements, master product agreements and subcontractor arrangements.
n
- Partner closely with procurement, project development, construction delivery and operations teams throughout the full project lifecycle.
n
- Advise on legal and commercial risk from project inception through construction,
commissioning and ongoing operations.
n
- Support procurement strategy, vendor selection processes and supply chain contracting arrangements.
n
- Contribute to the development of scalable legal templates, contracting frameworks, policies and processes to support continued growth.

Ideal Candidate
n
n
- Have approximately 15+ years' post-admission experience gained within a leading law firm and/or sophisticated in-house workplace.
n
- Possess robust expertise across construction, projects, procurement and infrastructure contracting.
n
- Have experience advising on complex, multi-phase infrastructure, energy or major capital projects.
n
- Demonstrate robust commercial acumen and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
n
- Be a confident negotiator capable of managing sophisticated counterparties and large contractor relationships.
n
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoy working closely with commercial and operational stakeholders.
n
- Be practical, solutions-focused and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
