We're seeking a skilled Data Scientist with advanced expertise in Python, natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and generative AI to support the development and implementation of a excellent Federal Government Project. This role offers the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team of technical and policy experts to design scalable analytical solutions that will make a real impact.
Key Responsibilitiesn

- Leverage AI, NLP, and machine learning techniques to extract, classify, and map skills data from diverse structured and unstructured sources.
n
- Develop and optimise bespoke natural language processing and generative AI models, including transformer-based and large language models.
n
- Build scalable data pipelines to operationalise AI models and ensure repeatable, transparent, and high-quality outputs.
n
- Collaborate with taxonomy, policy, and subject matter experts to integrate skills definitions and validation processes into workflows.
n
- Apply rigorous model evaluation and validation practices, including error analysis and reproducibility.
n
- Produce technical documentation, reusable analytical assets, and clear stakeholder-facing explanations of methodologies and results.
n
