Gleeson College invites expressions of interest from internal College staff.

Gleeson College is seeking two compassionate, organised and student-centred teachers to take on the role of Inclusive Education Coordinator. This Position of Responsibility Level 1 role supports students with specific learning needs by coordinating personalised learning support, developing and reviewing Personalised Plans for Learning, and helping ensure students are provided with appropriate curriculum, instructional and environmental adjustments.

The successful applicants will work closely with the Leader of Inclusive Education, teaching staff, Education Support Officers, House Leaders, families, external providers and CESA Inclusive Education personnel. The role includes case managing students with complex learning needs, supporting teachers to interpret and implement PPLs, maintaining accurate documentation, liaising with families and external services,



and contributing to NCCD moderation and inclusive education processes across the College.

This role would suit teachers who are collaborative, highly organised and confident communicating with students, families, colleagues and external professionals. The Inclusive Education Coordinators will play an key role in strengthening inclusive practice, supporting staff to meet relevant legal and policy obligations, and helping students with diverse learning and wellbeing needs to thrive as capable learners and valued members of the Gleeson College community.

This role is only available to Gleeson College staff.
