Madison Group Enterprises

Brisbane

Curious about AI? Good with people? Love making sense of a process with a lot of moving parts? Let's talk.

Madison Group Enterprises has spent thirty years connecting Australia and New Zealand. We're a group of specialist distribution and technology businesses — audio visual, cables and connectors, networking and security into mining, utilities and defence, connectivity solutions, a growing e-commerce arm, and IoT hardware manufacturing.

We are creating this new role to strengthen how we use AI across the business, and we're looking for an AI Solutions Analyst to help drive that forward.

You'll spend your time in rooms with finance, sales and procurement teams, figuring out how things work, mapping processes, developing solution blueprints and then building solutions. Sometimes that solution will include AI, sometimes AI will just be a tool in developing the solution.

You'll report to our AI Delivery Manager and work closely together on the implementation of our AI Implementation Roadmap.

What your day looks like. o Morning stand-up with the IT team: Quick, sharp, sets you up for the day.

o Help desk triage: A slice of day-to-day analytics/data enquiries land with you, Lakehouse ETL development/maintenance, reporting tasks (develop for self-serve).

o Project time: The bulk of your week, working directly with the AI Delivery Manager on initiatives pulled from our AI roadmap. Discovery, design, build, test, and getting people to actually use what you've built.

No two weeks look identical. That's kind of the point.

What you'll be doing.

o Embedding with business teams to document how things really work today and designing how they should work tomorrow.

o Turning business requirements into solution designs that are clear enough for anyone to build from.

o Building solutions using tools like Claude, Power BI, Azure, Databricks, and Foundry.

o Owning the relationship with your stakeholders - demos, training, UAT, adoption. If nobody's using it, it doesn't count.

o Some BAU reporting/analytics, most is self-serve, ad hoc requests still occur.

o AI Assisted work – bulk processing, bespoke analytics, work only a capable AI operator with a well-maintained suite of AI capabilities can do.

o Ongoing capability uplift and knowledge transfer to support growth in AI proficiency within the business.

Who we're after. You're four or more years into a Business Analyst, Process Improvement, or Solutions Analyst career, ideally with some finance, supply chain or operations exposure and you're looking for your next move to be into the AI space, not just adjacent to it.

Here's the bit that matters most: you already use AI seriously. Not “I asked ChatGPT to draft an email”. We mean you're working with AI tools daily, you've built something with them, and you've shipped it. You should be able to talk confidently about AI platforms, models, AI capabilities and limitations,

and have a good grounding in what AI can do today, along with a natural curiosity and growth mindset to stay current and informed as the landscape continues to move.

You'll also bring:

o Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You can sit with a team, listen properly, and translate what you hear into something buildable.

o Project delivery discipline. You've run work to a recognised delivery framework, you keep scope, risks, issues and decisions documented as you go and are comfortable working within a structured delivery lifecycle.

o Confident with SQL, spreadsheets, python and Power BI. You'll be in the data yourself, not handing it to someone else.

o A pragmatic streak. We'd rather ship something useful this week than chase a perfect solution for a month.

o Positive instincts on AI risk.

o The right to work in Australia.

Bonus points for:

o Exposure to Databricks, Azure AI Foundry, or Azure Data Factory.

o Familiarity with Salesforce, Infor M3, or similar ERP/CRM platforms.

o A background touching system integrations — APIs, ETL, ERP/CRM projects.

o Domain experience in finance, supply chain, or sales operations.

o Experience bringing work in-house that used to go to consultants.

Why this role. This is a genuinely exciting seat to have right now. You'll grow alongside the technology itself, working on real, visible problems, with a manager who's just as invested in the “what's next” of AI as you are, in a space where you can move fast and make an actual dent.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
