We are seeking an Allied Health Assistant (Gap Year) to work in a full time fixed term for 12 months (80 hours/fortnight) capacity based at Nhill.

RENUMERATION

- Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2025-2027.
- Estimated Annual Salary: IN28 - Allied Health Assistant Grade 1, $59,282.704 per year.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- To provide high-quality support to our Allied Health Professionals, including clinical care and administrative duties.

Essential

- Effective communication and organisational skills.
- An understanding of the unique nature of rural communities and a commitment to improving the overall health and well-being of these communities.
- Ability to work both independently and as a valuable member of a team.
- Time management and organisational skills.
- Commitment to principles of Quality Assurance, Equal Employment Prospect and Occupational Health & Safety.
- Confidence in a pool workplace isrequired.
- Competence in using computer programs including Microsoft Word, Outlook and other databases.

- Qualifications are not mandatory for this position.



There is an opportunity to complete Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance if the successful candidate wishes (not mandatory).

PRE-REQUISITES:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Working with Children Check.
- Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
- Australian Driver’s Licence.
