Role Description
This is a Casual to full-time on-site role for an Assistant Accountant located in Williams Landing, VIC.
The Assistant
Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as assisting with the preparation of financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate financial records,
processing payroll, and supporting the senior accountants with various accounting tasks. The individual will also assist in tax compliance and preparation, perform bank reconciliations, and help with month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience in Financial Accounting and Reporting
- Skills in Accounts Payable and Receivable management
- Proficiency in Payroll Processing and Bank Reconciliation
- Knowledge of Tax Compliance and Preparation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable
- Experience in the accounting industry is a plus
