Assistive Technology Professional – Complex Rehab

Are you an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Assistive Technology professional with hands-on experience across complex wheelchairs, powerchairs and mobility solutions ?

i-Pharm Consulting is partnering with a growing assistive technology business to find an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to join their Canberra team.

This is an opportunity to combine your clinical expertise, product knowledge and commercial skills to help people access the right equipment to improve their independence, mobility and quality of life.

The Role

You’ll work closely with clients, families, therapists and healthcare professionals to assess needs and recommend tailored assistive technology solutions.

Your responsibilities will include

- Managing assessments and trials for complex manual and powered wheelchairs, power-assist devices and custom commodes
- Applying strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills to identify the right solution for each client
- Working closely with OTs, Physios, support coordinators and other healthcare professionals
- Providing product demonstrations, education and training to clients and clinicians
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts
- Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to sales targets
- Managing your territory independently while being supported by an experienced team





What We’re Looking For We’re particularly interested in candidates who have genuine experience with complex rehab and mobility equipment , including:

- Complex manual and powered wheelchairs
- Power-assist technology
- Seating and positioning solutions
- Custom commodes and other complex AT solutions
- Client assessment, scripting and clinical recommendations

An OT or Physiotherapy qualification would be highly regarded, particularly where combined with complex rehabilitation experience. We’re also open to medical device sales professionals who have strong experience selling mobility, rehabilitation or assistive technology products and have the clinical aptitude to transition into an ATP-focused role.

Essential Requirements
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Full Australian driver’s licence
- Complex rehab / mobility equipment experience
- Flu and COVID vaccination or valid exemption
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check, WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- AHPRA registration where applicable
