Role Description An

Associate Software Engineer supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and systems. The role works under the guidance of senior engineers and collaborates with development, product, and IT teams while building practical software development skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with software design, development, testing, and maintenance activities.

- Analyze technical requirements and support the implementation of software solutions.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code under appropriate guidance.

- Develop and enhance application features and system components.

- Troubleshoot software defects, errors, and performance issues.

- Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.

- Support the development and integration of APIs, databases, and third-party services.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, and basic software quality checks.

- Collaborate with senior engineers, developers, product teams, and IT staff.

- Assist with software deployments, releases, upgrades, and production support.

- Support database and data-related development activities.

- Maintain technical documentation and development records.

- Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues.

- Learn and apply new programming languages,



frameworks, tools, and technologies.

- Contribute to automation, code quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Entry-level experience, internship, or relevant software development experience is preferred.

- Basic to intermediate programming skills in Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar languages.

- Familiarity with web applications, APIs, databases, and software frameworks.

- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational or NoSQL databases.

- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

- Understanding of software development life cycle and testing practices.

- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is advantageous.

- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work under guidance while gradually taking on independent responsibilities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant development tools.

- Professional, reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach.
