Sigma Aerospace Workforce is seeking expressions of interest from B2 Avionics LAMEs for an ongoing full-time opportunity based at Moorabbin Airport, Melbourne.
This role will support a rotary-wing engineering operation working across EC120, AS350/H125, H135 and H145 helicopters. It is suited to an experienced avionics engineer with strong hands-on maintenance capability and the confidence to support fault-finding, installations, upgrades and modification work in a practical aircraft maintenance environment.
The role
You will support avionics maintenance activity across a diverse helicopter fleet, including:
- Practical avionics maintenance and fault-finding
- Avionics installations and aircraft modification work
- Aircraft wiring and loom system work
- Equipment and radio upgrades
- Accurate maintenance documentation
- Safe, team-oriented work within a changing engineering environment
About you To be considered, you will need:
- CASA B2.3 Avionics LAME licence
- Genuine hands-on avionics maintenance experience
- Strong fault-finding, wiring, installation and modification capability
- Appropriate Australian work rights
- Ability to work from Moorabbin Airport, Melbourne
- Flexible, practical and safety-focused approach
Rotary-wing experience will be highly regarded. Experience on EC120, AS350/H125, H135 or H145 aircraft is desirable, but no specific aircraft type rating has been confirmed as mandatory.
Roster and employment
This is an ongoing full-time employment opportunity. A predominantly Monday to Friday roster is anticipated, with possible additional weekend or shift requirements during peak summer operations.
New Zealand candidates may be considered, subject to confirmation of work rights and visa requirements. Interstate candidates may also be considered.
