Role Description This part-time Business Analyst (Entry / Junior) role is a hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, with a combination of on-site work and some work from home.

The Business

Analyst will assist in gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing data and processes, and supporting the development of recommendations to improve operations. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with stakeholders to understand needs, mapping current business processes, preparing reports and simple dashboards, and supporting testing and validation of proposed solutions. The role also involves maintaining transparent documentation, contributing to meetings and workshops, and learning standard business analysis methods and tools under guidance from more experienced team members.

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Candidates should possess Business Analysis skills to assist with requirements gathering, documentation,



and process evaluation.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, present findings clearly, and document insights effectively.
- Candidates should possess Business Process knowledge to understand workflows, identify inefficiencies, and suggest improvements.
- Candidates should possess Business Requirements understanding to help translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable specifications.
- Relevant tertiary studies (or ongoing studies) in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field are beneficial.
- Basic proficiency with productivity and analysis tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, and documentation tools) is preferred.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and demonstrate a proactive, learning-focused mindset is advantageous.
