About the Role Working within a manufacturing and yard environment, you will be responsible for:
- Repairing and maintaining kiln carts
- Replacing and repairing refractory bricks
- Stacking, packing, and handling bricks and materials
- Operating manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- General yard duties, cleaning, and housekeeping
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience To be successful,
you will have:
- Bricklaying experience or experience working with bricks and masonry products
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- The ability to perform physically demanding work
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Reliability and commitment to workplace safety
- The ability to work in a manufacturing environment including heat, dust, and noise
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
- Forklift Licence (Desirable)
