Massage Therapist

About the role

n

Our team at LifeCare is growing and as a result, we are looking for a Massage Therapist to join our team on a contracting basis.

n

You will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your client's quality of life. This role involves working within a collaborative team with Physiotherapists and other Massage Therapists.

In this role you will be...

n

n
- Assessing symptoms and medical history, making a diagnosis and developing care plans for individuals
n
- Manipulating muscles and other soft tissue/s
n
- Educating and training your clients on all aspects of therapy
n
- Providing your clients with goal setting activities and guidance on stretching, strengthening and improving posture
n
- Referring your clients to Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology treatment where required
n
- Liaising with various healthcare professionals such to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored
n
- Documenting and reporting on your client's condition and progress
n

- Qualification in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy
n
- Must have Medibank Private and other private health registration
n
- ABN or ACN and relevant insurance documents
