Guest Ready Co is looking for a reliable, mature-minded and detail-focused person to join our small team as a Casual Short-Stay Property Cleaner.
This is not domestic house cleaning. We specialise in preparing short-stay and Airbnb properties between guests, so our focus is on presentation, attention to detail and ensuring every property is completely guest-ready for the next arrival.
About the role The work is casual and based around guest bookings, so hours will vary from week to week and cannot be guaranteed. Most cleans take place during the daytime between guest check-out and check-in.
Your duties may include
- Cleaning and presenting bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and living areas
- Making beds and replacing linen and towels
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Dusting and presentation checks
- Checking that the property is fully prepared for incoming guests
- Reporting any damage, maintenance issues or missing items
- Following our property-specific cleaning and presentation standards
Who we’re looking for
Experience is welcome, but not essential. We are very happy to train the right person.
More importantly, we’re looking for someone who:
- Is reliable and turns up when they say they will
- Has a strong eye for detail
- Takes pride in their work
- Can work efficiently without compromising standards
- Is willing to learn our short-stay cleaning systems
- Can work independently as well as part of a small team
- Is comfortable with changing weekly hours
- Has good communication skills
- Is physically capable of performing cleaning duties
- Has their own reliable vehicle and current driver’s licence
Because short-stay accommodation operates seven days a week, some weekend availability may occasionally be required.

Please note that this is a genuine casual position. There are no guaranteed minimum weekly hours, as work depends on short-stay bookings and guest turnover.
