Take the Lead as Our Next Chef Manager

Location: Craigieburn, Victoria

Salary: $80,000 p.a. + Super

Roster: Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 3:00pm

Step into a key operational role with Cater Care as Chef Manager in Craigieburn. We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage day-to-day kitchen workflow, ensure superior food presentation, uphold strict health and hygiene standards, and drive performance across the local culinary team.

Key Responsibilities

- Direct day-to-day kitchen operations, staff scheduling, and service execution to ensure maximum efficiency during peak hours
- Drive menu development and food preparation while ensuring exceptional standards of quality, taste, and presentation
- Manage stock ordering, inventory tracking, and cost-control measures to actively minimise food wastage
- Maintain strict adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness regulations
- Deliver an engaging,



professional presence in an open-kitchen environment and assist with general hospitality duties as required

About You

Desired Skills and Experience

- Experienced Chef Manager, or Senior Cook holding relevant Trade Qualification, Food Safety Supervisor Certification, and a driver's license
- Demonstrated capability in leading small teams, managing daily kitchen workflows, and maintaining operational efficiency
- Well-organised multi-tasker with strong verbal communication skills and basic proficiency in Google Workspace
- Dedicated to maintaining superior food quality, presentation, and workplace safety standards at all times
- Positive, approachable, and flexible qualified who thrives in an open kitchen and readily assists across overall business operations
