As a Claims Manager or Senior Claims Manager, you'll provide professional claims management services across life, disability and income protection insurance claims. Working within our holistic claims management approach, you'll:

- support members through challenging circumstances while developing strategies that help improve wellbeing and return-to-work outcomes.
- build strong relationships with members, employers, healthcare providers and other stakeholders, balancing empathy with sound decision-making.
- help deliver positive experiences and fair outcomes while maintaining compliance with industry and organisational standards.
- be supported by comprehensive in-house training and ongoing development, providing the skills, knowledge and confidence to manage a diverse caseload and grow your career within a purpose-led organisation.
- we have multiple permanent and maximum term opportunities available in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, commencing from 19 October 2026.
- should you application progress, you'll need to be available to join us virtually in Group Assessment Centres 23 or 24 September 2026 to learn more about the role and ART and participate in group interview activities
- be ready to commence with us from Monday 19 October 2026.

Responsibilities Day to day, you'll:

- Manage a caseload of life, disability and income protection insurance claims.
- Assess benefit entitlement through analysis of contractual, medical, functional and occupational information.




- Conduct telephone interviews to understand member circumstances and support return-to-work planning.
- Develop and implement outcome-focused case management plans.
- Build team-oriented relationships with members, employers, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Deliver clear verbal and written communications, including claim decisions and claim updates.
- Resolve claim-related issues professionally and provide easy-to-understand explanations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with claims strategies and governance requirements.
- Prioritise competing work demands to meet service expectations and operational objectives.
- Contribute ideas that improve member outcomes, processes and team performance.

Qualifications It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

- You have experience delivering high-quality customer service and managing sensitive client interactions.
- Your analytical skills enable you to assess complex information and make sound decisions.

- You can manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional service standards.

- You're a collaborative team member who enjoys sharing knowledge and supporting others.




- You have experience in insurance claims, rehabilitation, community services, health services or a related field.
- Your tertiary qualification in insurance, finance or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
