The Role
Millennium is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team and ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced workplace, have strong attention to detail, and take pride in creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers.
We have a full-time position available with the following roster:
- Wednesday to Sunday: 6:00 PM to 1:36 AM
- Thursday: 10:00 PM to 5:36 AM
This position is paid in accordance with the applicable award rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard.
- Deliver site cleaning services and maintain quality standards.
- Manage rosters, team performance, and staff training.
- Liaise with clients and support site operations.
- Oversee cleaning equipment and stock control.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, KPIs, and incident reporting procedures.
- Complete sweeping, mopping, and general floor care tasks.
- Clean internal and external glass surfaces.
- Lead and support a small cleaning team.
About You
- Demonstrated cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial or retail environment.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, including supervising, rostering, or leading a small cleaning team.
- Experience operating cleaning machinery, including sweepers and scrubbers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to support, motivate, and manage staff while maintaining high cleaning standards.
- Able to complete online induction requirements upon commencement.
- Physically fit, proactive, and quick to learn.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Proven ability to work successfully as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining attendance standards.
- Good understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including public holidays when required.
- Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, and sweepers is highly regarded.
