The Opportunity Want to get out of general labouring and learn a specialised skill?
We’re looking for a hands-on General Labourer to join a growing restoration team on the Gold Coast, with a genuine pathway to develop into a Restoration Technician.
You’ll work alongside experienced technicians on a range of restoration projects, learning how properties are restored following water damage, fire and smoke damage, mould and other incidents.
You don't need previous restoration experience. What matters is that you're reliable, practical, physically capable and genuinely keen to learn.

About the Role As a General Labourer, you'll assist experienced technicians across residential and commercial restoration projects.
Your day-to-day work may include:
- Assisting technicians with restoration and remediation work
- Setting up and packing down equipment on job sites
- Moving equipment, materials and contents
- Assisting with water damage and structural drying work
- Supporting mould remediation and cleaning activities
- Assisting with contents restoration and removal
- Using hand tools and restoration equipment
- Keeping work areas clean, secure and organised
- Following site, safety and restoration procedures
- Learning new skills and gradually taking on more responsibility
The role can be physically demanding and will suit someone who enjoys hands-on work rather than sitting behind a desk.

- Can follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Takes pride in their work and presentation
- Is comfortable working in different residential and commercial environments
- Has previous construction, labouring, cleaning, trade or maintenance experience (advantageous but not essential)
