About the prospect

- A privately owned, national distribution business with an established and growing presence in commercial flooring and acoustic solutions
- Supplies into the architecture, design and construction sector across Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Workplace and broader commercial markets
- A newly shaped territory role covering Brisbane QLD, reporting to the National Sales Manager
- Genuine mix of new business hunting and management of an existing account portfolio, including exposure to nominated national key accounts
- Office or home based, with regular travel across the territory

The role

- Identify, pursue and convert new business across commercial flooring and acoustic projects in QLD
- Build relationships directly with end users, architects, designers, specifiers, contractors and flooring retailers to influence specifications
- Manage and grow an existing account portfolio, including account plans, business reviews and retention strategy
- Prepare and submit tender responses, and represent the business at trade shows and industry events
- Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and report on performance and market intelligence





What you'll bring

- Senior business development and account management experience, ideally in flooring, building products, interiors, acoustic solutions or a related industry
- A track record of engaging end users and influencing architects, designers, specifiers and contractors to convert specifications into sales
- A proven history of hitting sales revenue, margin and KPI targets
- Tender experience and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly, including overnight

What's on offer

- $100,000 to $115,000 base plus superannuation (Neg)
- $16,000 car allowance + credit card for expeses and pertrol etc
- OTE on top, with room to move for the right candidate
