Program overviewBoeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Ground Crewman Aircraft Support Instructors to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team.
Program overview The AH-64E Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support. This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations.
Why this role is exciting * Directly support integration and sustainment of the Apache within Army Aviation operations. * Deliver hands-on training and assessments in barracks, field environments and live hot/refuel operations. * Influence courseware, doctrine and procedures that set industry standards. * Be embedded with ADF personnel on a high-profile, mission-critical program. What you'll do * Deliver and assess LMP training, including Initial Employment Training (IET). * Act as a Qualified Assessor and Trade Testing Officer. * Conduct GCAS training in barracks and field environments, including hot/refuel and ground support procedures. * Review, update and author courseware, handouts and LMP materials. * Support ePEX section review and authorization. * Work to Defence publications, Operational/Technical Airworthiness and Army Aviation Risk Management standards. * Comply with WHS, Defence Safety Manual and environmental management policies. Who we're looking for:Essential qualifications & experience * Aviation Explosive Operations Supervisor (or equivalent). * Certificate IV TAE40116 (Training & Assessment) or higher. * Bulk fuel qualification (L121) or equivalent. * Previous GCAS operational experience. * AVN FARP Operator 120339 (P104089). * Must be an Australian citizen (Defence security requirement). Desirable skills & certifications * L121 driver (40M HX77)
