The Position
This position is responsible for the development and implementation of the Halve Waste program. Including all budgets, staff management, programming, marketing, education strategies and plans. As well as coordinating the delivery of campaigns and education programs in collaboration with all local, regional and interstate stakeholders.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Coordinate the identification and development of strategic Programs, marketing and education requirements for Halve Waste councils.
- Support local and reginal councils in the delivery of the Halve Waste 2034 Roadmap that incorporates education programs for kerbside waste and recycling including communications with external contractors.
- Administration and management of the Halve Waste program budget including financial reporting and development of annual budgets.
- Lead and manage the team including; performance management, training and development, workflow coordination, rostering and timesheets, workforce planning and developing a high level of morale and harmony.
- Develop and implement marketing tactical plans for all media campaigns and work closely with creative and website content development to ensure KPIs for advertising and engagement are met.
- Develop and deliver programs to the business sector, including waste assessments.
- Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure continual delivery of consistent campaign messages and programs.
Qualifications and experience
- Tertiary qualification in Environment, Marketing, Public Relations,
Business or other related fields or equivalent relevant work experience
- Class C (standard) Driver's Licence compulsory to have and maintain
- Experience in developing program and marketing strategy and implementing integrated campaign activity
- Experience leading a multidisciplinary team
Hours
Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
