- Lead, deliver and evaluate maternity-focused clinical education programs that promote best practice and drive positive health outcomes for mothers and babies.
- Provide strong clinical leadership through mentorship, preceptorship and professional support, fostering a cooperative and high-performing learning environment.
- Apply adult learning principles and contemporary education methodologies to build capability, confidence and clinical excellence across the maternity workforce.
- Collaborate with management, Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Consultants to ensure education initiatives align with service delivery goals and strategic priorities.
- Role model professional, ethical and safe maternity practice, upholding NSW Health values and contributing to a culture of quality, respect and excellence.

- Demonstrated experience as a maternity nurse with a commitment to accountability, reflective practice and ongoing professional development.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, coach and inspire staff to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.
- Proven ability to design,
deliver and evaluate education programs that meet the diverse learning needs of clinicians across maternity services.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, professional standards and codes of conduct, with the confidence to appropriately address unsafe or unprofessional practice.
- A positive role model who consistently demonstrates contemporary leadership behaviours and upholds the NSW Health Code of Conduct, values and expectations in everyday practice.

- Do you currently hold Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA and possess a postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education? Please attach copies of your AHPRA registration and postgraduate qualification to your application.
