Join B31 Neurology Ward as a Clinical Nurse Educator and play a key role in shaping the future of nursing practice through education, mentorship, and professional development. This exciting opportunity allows you to lead clinical education initiatives, provide orientation and competency development, deliver bedside teaching, and support staff to achieve excellence in patient-centred care.

Working Monday to Friday with no shift work, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on both staff development and patient outcomes within a supportive and specialised neurology environment.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Clinical Nurse Educator who demonstrates excellent communication skills, including active listening, to effectively support, mentor, and develop nursing staff. You will bring strong attention to detail, ensuring high standards of clinical practice, education, and patient care are maintained.

Neurology experience is highly valued; however, candidates with strong clinical education experience and a commitment to developing their neurology knowledge are encouraged to apply. Selection Criteria To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.





- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
- Demonstrated understanding of competency-based assessment with experience in education / clinical teaching and developing clinical programs based on adult learning principles.
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and qualified manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
- Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care.
- Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
