Renumeration: $124,273.70 - $128,301.89 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

About The Role

As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a pivotal role in developing the knowledge, skills and confidence of nursing staff to deliver safe, evidence-based and person-centred care. Working closely with clinicians, students and new graduates, you will assess learning needs,



design and facilitate education programs, and foster a positive learning culture that supports professional growth and quality patient outcomes

What You’ll Be Doing

- Assess, develop, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs that support nursing staff within the service.
- Facilitate orientation, onboarding and transition programs for new and existing employees to build clinical capability and confidence.
- Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and support to students, novice clinicians, new graduates and nursing staff.
- Promote best practice, evidence-based care and continuous career development through education, coaching and role modelling.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, education resources, policy development and clinical practice improvement activities across the service.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated clinical experience within the relevant specialty area and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Proven experience in clinical teaching,



education facilitation and competency assessment within a healthcare setting.
- Highly developed communication, mentoring and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and develop nursing staff at all stages of their career.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, with postgraduate education qualifications (or working towards) highly regarded.
- A current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel as required
- A current Working With Children Check
- Vaccination Category A compliance
- Australian working rights
