About the role

ADMB Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Solar Electrician / Solar PV Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Hallam, VIC 3803. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on electrical expertise with leadership responsibilities in the rapidly growing solar energy sector. As a Commercial Solar Electrician and Team Leader, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality solar photovoltaic installations whilst overseeing and mentoring our technical team.

This position is critical to our operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest industry standards.

Key responsibilities

- Install, test and commission commercial solar PV systems, including electrical connections, switchboard work and integration with building infrastructure
- Lead and supervise solar installation teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards and project timelines
- Conduct site assessments and provide technical recommendations for commercial solar installations
- Mentor and train apprentices and solar technicians, fostering skill development and qualified growth
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on solar systems and related electrical equipment
- Manage project documentation, including compliance certificates, test reports and system commissioning records
- Ensure full compliance with electrical standards, building codes and occupational health and safety regulations
- Liaise with customers, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project delivery
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

- Current electrical license (A-grade electrician or equivalent qualification recognised in Victoria)
- Active SAA Accreditation (GCPV-Grid Connected Photovoltaic Systems)




- Demonstrated experience installing and commissioning commercial solar PV systems
- Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 5033 and relevant solar installation guidelines
- Competency in reading electrical schematics, technical drawings and system designs
