About The Role
Stamford Plaza Brisbane is currently seeking passionate and hardworking Commis Chefs to join our talented Kitchen Brigade on a full-time and casual basis.
If you have respect for the industry, professional 5-star standards, a great work ethic and know what it takes to succeed, we could be a great match.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsibilities will include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures.
- Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment.
- Work may include operating a grill, oven, or fryer.
Requirements For The Role
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar capacity
- Degree from internationally recognised culinary institution preferred
- Working knowledge of protected kitchen practices
- Knowledge in Food & Beverage & Kitchen regulations
