Are you passionate about quality, compliance and continuous improvement in vocational education and training? Komatsu is seeking an experienced RTO Compliance Manager to lead the regulatory compliance and quality assurance functions of the Komatsu Training Academy (RTO 90996).
In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the Academy's registration, ensuring compliance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations, and overseeing obligations under government-funded training contracts.
You'll lead audit readiness activities, assessment validation programs, quality reviews and continuous improvement initiatives that support nationally accredited training delivery across Australia.
Working closely with the RTO leadership team, you'll provide expert guidance and independent assurance that training and assessment practices remain compliant, consistent and audit-ready.
This is an excellent prospect to influence training excellence, protect the integrity of Komatsu's apprenticeship and customer training programs, and make a lasting impact on workforce capability across the business.
Role Located: Welshpool, WA (with regular travel to Sherwood, QLD)
Roster: Monday – Friday, 38 hours per week
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience managing RTO compliance, regulatory audits and funding contract requirements.
- Strong knowledge of the Standards for RTOs, VET Quality Framework and related legislation.
- Experience in assessment validation, moderation and quality assurance across multiple qualifications.
- Expertise in training package requirements, TAS development and assessment design.
- Understanding of AVETMISS reporting, state funding contracts, apprenticeships and traineeships.
- Exceptional audit, compliance and report-writing skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build compliance capability across diverse teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and regulatory deadlines.
- Willingness to travel interstate and to regional locations as required.
Essential Qualifications
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent upgrade pathway).
- A qualification in Auditing or a related field is highly desirable.
- Current Working with Children Check (WA).
- Queensland Blue Card (where required).
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
