Role Description The Consultant: Registered Australian Architect Class 2 Build will lead designmilkstudio in delivering architectural services for residential and mixed-use projects, with a focus on Class 2 buildings. This is a remote,



contract role that involves reviewing current package and preparing documentation aligned with relevant Australian standards and codes for Class 2 Build whilst advising on compliance and buildability. The consultant will collaborate and run the remaining CC Package for Approval.

DMS will manage the client [ Developer ] - and we require high level Class 2 Documentation.

Qualifications

- Registration as an Australian Architect, with demonstrated experience in Class 2 residential/mixed-use projects and sound knowledge of local building regulations and codes.
- Strong architectural design and documentation capabilities, including proficiency with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, or similar) and familiarity with BIM workflows.
- Experience in coordinating with structural, services, and other specialist consultants, and in translating exisiting DA into practical, buildable solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and build relationships across cultures and disciplines.
- Background in mixed-use developments is highly beneficial,
- Comfort with contract and consulting arrangements, including managing time, deliverables, and documentation standards in a professional consultancy workplace.
