About the role

n

We are seeking a Security Key Account Manage r to oversee the delivery of security services at a Data Centre located in Melbourne's CBD.

n

Reporting to the National Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for leading the on site security team, ensuring contractual service requirements are upheld.

n

This is a Full Time position working predominantly Monday to Friday, however, there will be a requirement to be available after hours to manage urgent operational matters.

n

Duties include but are not limited to:

n

n
- People management: Oversee hiring, training, performance, disciplinary processes and employee terminations in accordance with company policies.
n
- Employee development : Develop, mentor and support employees to promote a high performing workforce.
n
- Reporting: Compile data for Quarterly Business Reviews and attend and lead client meetings.
n
- Cost management: Identify and implement cost saving initiatives and operational efficiencies while maintaining service quality.
n
- Payroll administration:



Oversee payroll, ensuring employee hours, allowances and leave entitlements are accurate and submitted on time.
n
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, responding promptly to operational issues and service requests.
n
- Incident management: Manage operational incidents from initial response through to corrective actions.
n
- Equipment and logistics: Oversee the management of uniforms and equipment, ensuring staff are appropriately equipped and inventory is maintained.

Requirements:

n

n
- Prior experience managing security operations, including incident response, compliance requirements, risk management and leading large teams.
n
- The ability to confidently lead client meetings, providing operational updates, addressing concerns and presenting solutions.
n
- People focused leadership style, with the ability to motivate teams, build a positive culture, and deliver high quality security services.
n
- Must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV1 Clearance.
n
- Valid Victorian Security Licence.
n
