Join a Successful Australian Business An exciting opportunity exists for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a well-established and growing Australian organisation. Reporting into senior finance leadership, this role offers broad exposure across management reporting, forecasting, commercial analysis, cost control and business partnering.

The Role
This position will suit a junior to mid-level Management Accountant who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders and influencing business decisions through insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly management reports including Customer P&Ls; and Corporate P&Ls.;
- Deliver pricing and margin analysis by product and customer to support commercial decision-making.
- Develop and maintain rolling 12-month P&L; forecasts, improving forecasting accuracy and supporting the annual budgeting process.
- Produce weekly and monthly forecasts and performance insights.
- Partner closely with production and operational cost centres to drive cost control initiatives.
- Conduct ROI and investment analysis for capital expenditure projects.
- Build financial models and perform scenario analysis relating to pricing, costings and business performance.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support across the business as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting and financial processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Experience in a Management Accountant,



Commercial Accountant or similar role.
- Robust Excel skills, and should you have financial modelling capabilities that would be highly regarded.
- Proven experience performing pricing, costing and margin analysis.
- The ability to translate financial information into commercially meaningful insights.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to support the wider finance team when needed.
- CA/CPA qualification in progress, completed, or equivalent experience (full qualification not essential).

Highly Regarded
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production or a related environment.
- Exposure to forecasting process improvements and rolling forecast models.
- Experience supporting operational or production-based business units.
