Varied, hands-on maintenance role | Automation & controls | Reliable manufacturing environment

A well-established market leading Australian manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join its engineering and maintenance team.

This is a broad, hands-on position suited to a practical and skilled electrician who enjoys fault finding, machinery maintenance, controls and solving electrical problems, rather than simply performing repetitive preventative maintenance.

The Role

You'll work across a busy manufacturing environment, taking responsibility for the electrical maintenance, repair and improvement of production equipment and associated plant.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
- Electrical fault finding, breakdowns and repairs
- Maintenance of production machinery and associated plant
- Installation and commissioning of plant and equipment
- Electrical modifications and machinery improvements
- Control panel design, modification and installation
- Assisting with PLCs, automation and production efficiency improvements
- Working autonomously on maintenance projects and scheduled works
- Working alongside mechanical and other specialist trades
- Maintaining high standards of WHS and housekeeping

About You

We're looking for a capable,



reliable tradesperson who takes ownership of their work and is comfortable working across a varied manufacturing environment, including some of the latest machines and technology in manufacturing, in addition to older production lines and legacy systems.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Electrical trade qualification and current NSW Electrical Licence
- Solid hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Manufacturing, production or industrial maintenance experience
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience with machinery, controls and electrical systems
- PLC knowledge or exposure
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to work autonomously and manage changing priorities
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Some flexibility for overtime, including occasional weekend or public holiday work, will be required.
