About The Role





Join Manningham Council as a Cybersecurity Analyst and play a key role in strengthening our cyber resilience and information protection capabilities.

Working across Microsoft's E5 Security and Compliance platform, you'll lead the implementation and optimisation of Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, Insider Risk Management and Data Protection solutions. You'll help ensure Council's security controls align with the ASD Essential Eight, VPDSS and ISM frameworks, while contributing to a secure and resilient digital workplace.

About You

We're looking for a Microsoft Security specialist with strong hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, Insider Risk Management and Data Protection capabilities across the Microsoft E5 platform.

You Will Bring

- Proven experience implementing Microsoft E5 Security and Compliance technologies.
- Expertise in Defender XDR, Purview, Insider Risk Management, DLP, Information Protection and Data Classification.
- Experience aligning security controls with the ASD Essential Eight, VPDSS and ISM frameworks.
- Strong incident response, threat detection and security uplift experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Qualifications or certifications in cyber security, information technology, ITIL, Agile, PRINCE2 or related disciplines will be highly regarded.
