Role Description This part-time Data Analyst (Entry / Junior) role at RC Ducks is a hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. The role involves collecting, cleaning, and validating data from various internal sources to support operational and business decisions.

The Data

Analyst will assist in building basic reports and dashboards, performing exploratory data analysis, and summarizing trends for stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include working with senior analysts to understand data requirements, preparing standard analyses, documenting methods, and communicating findings in clear, accessible formats. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and supporting ad hoc analytical requests as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities.




- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of Statistics and the ability to interpret quantitative results.
- Candidates should possess introductory Data Modeling skills for organizing and structuring data.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Candidates should ideally have experience with spreadsheets and entry-level data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools).
- Candidates should have strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Candidates should preferably have or be working toward a degree or qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
