About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our team in Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, early-career professional, or candidate transitioning into data analytics to develop practical experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced analysts and business stakeholders to collect, clean, analyse, and visualize data, while supporting regular reporting and business-performance initiatives.

The role is suitable for candidates who have a solid analytical mindset, good attention to detail, and a genuine interest in using data to solve business problems.

Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis

- Collect, organize, and analyse data from multiple business sources.
- Assist with extracting and preparing data for analysis and reporting.
- Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and relationships within datasets.
- Perform basic descriptive and comparative analysis.
- Support senior analysts with ad-hoc data-analysis requests.
- Help translate business questions into structured analytical tasks.
- Validate analysis results and ensure accuracy before reporting.

Data Cleaning & Preparation
- Clean and transform raw datasets for analysis.
- Identify and resolve duplicate, missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate data.




- Perform data validation and quality checks.
- Maintain accurate and well-structured datasets.
- Document data sources, definitions, assumptions, and analytical processes.
- Assist with combining data from spreadsheets, databases, CRM systems, and other business platforms.

Reporting & Dashboards
- Prepare recurring business and operational reports.
- Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Create charts, tables, and visualizations that clearly communicate key findings.
- Monitor business KPIs and performance indicators.
- Support the development of automated reporting solutions.
- Present analytical findings in a clear and understandable format.

SQL & Database Support
- Write basic to intermediate SQL queries to retrieve and analyse data.
- Use filtering, sorting, aggregation, joins, and other fundamental SQL techniques.
- Work with relational databases and structured datasets.
- Support senior team members with database queries and data extraction.
- Develop an understanding of data structures, relationships, and business rules.

Business Support
- Work with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product,



and other teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Assist stakeholders in interpreting business data.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting and data quality.
- Support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Help convert analytical findings into clear business insights and recommendations.

Continuous Improvement
- Identify repetitive reporting tasks that could be automated.
- Support improvements to data workflows and reporting processes.
- Explore opportunities to improve data accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility.
- Stay up to date with new analytics tools and technologies.
- Develop practical knowledge of AI-assisted analytics and automation where appropriate.
