Data Analyst (Entry-Level / Junior)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Data Analyst (Entry-Level / Junior) to join our team in Australia.

The successful candidate will support data collection, data cleaning, analysis, reporting, visualization, and business-performance monitoring to help teams make informed, data-driven decisions.

This position is suitable for fresh graduates, recent university graduates, and early-career professionals who are looking to build practical experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.

You will work closely with experienced analysts and cross-functional teams to organize data, identify trends, prepare reports, and provide useful insights for business operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, organize, and prepare business and operational data for analysis.
- Clean, validate, and maintain datasets to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc data reports for internal teams and management.
- Assist with developing and maintaining dashboards and data visualizations.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Use Excel and other analytical tools to process and analyze data.
- Support data extraction from databases and internal business systems.
- Investigate data discrepancies and assist with resolving data-quality issues.
- Maintain accurate and organized datasets, reports, dashboards, and documentation.
- Assist with basic statistical and quantitative analysis where required.
- Translate analytical findings into clear and practical business insights.
- Support business teams with data-related questions and reporting requests.




- Assist with developing automated reports and improving data workflows.
- Work with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other departments on data projects.
- Support data visualization and presentation of analytical findings.
- Assist senior analysts with research, analysis, and ongoing projects.
- Learn and apply new data-analysis tools and techniques.
- Support data-quality and reporting-process improvements.
- Perform other data-analysis and reporting duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Finance , or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with limited skilled experience are welcome to apply.
- Internship, university project, coursework,



or personal project involving data analysis is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel , including formulas, lookups, sorting, filtering, and PivotTables.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar data-visualization tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Python or R is a plus but not required.
- Experience with CRM, ERP, databases, or business-reporting systems is an advantage.
- Relevant data-analysis or business-intelligence certifications are welcome but not mandatory.
