QIX Consulting is partnering with a major global enterprise to engage an experienced Technical Platform & Data Analyst for a hands-on contract chance based in Thornleigh.
This role sits across data analysis, platform support and technical operations, working closely with local and global product, engineering and platform teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- SQL analysis and database investigation across Redshift and data warehouse platforms
- Data validation, reconciliation and troubleshooting
- Supporting Power BI administration, reporting and operational requirements
- Monitoring and supporting Managed File Transfer (MFT) services
- Providing operational support across AWS and GCP data platforms
- Investigating incidents, performing triage and supporting root cause analysis
- Supporting technical platforms across data and integration services
- Managing BAU technical requests and stakeholder queries
- Developing and maintaining documentation, runbooks and knowledge articles
- Collaborating with teams across multiple time zones to drive issues through to resolution
What we’re looking for:
✔ Strong SQL and data analysis capability
✔ Experience with databases, data warehouses and data troubleshooting
✔ Exposure to AWS and/or GCP environments
✔ Experience supporting Power BI
✔ Strong incident investigation and troubleshooting skills
✔ Experience working within complex enterprise delivery environments
✔ Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
✔ Pragmatic, self-sufficient and comfortable taking ownership through to completion
✔ Comfortable collaborating with global teams across different time zones
This would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on with data and technology, can investigate problems independently, and is equally comfortable working with technical teams and business stakeholders.
