About the Team
The Policy and Funding Negotiations (Schooling) team is primarily responsible for overseeing implementation of the Better and Fairer Schools Agreement 2025-2034. The team is also responsible for briefing and analysis on a range of national policy issues as part of the Department of Education's engagement in intergovernmental forums.
About the Role
As Director, Policy and Funding Negotiations (Schooling) you will:
Provide leadership in education, strategic policy and planning through the effective development and implementation of frameworks and systems that drive and enable the achievement of strategic imperatives.
Lead and direct project teams and undertake planning, analysis and development of strategic initiatives that inform the future position of the department with regard to education.
