NW Mining & Civil are seeking experienced power station mechanical fitters to join our client's team on a 5 week shutdown at a Mt Isa mine site.

n

Your day to day tasks will include the following, applicants must have proven experience in a similar role to be considered:

- Turbine and engine overhauls
n
- Pump and valve maintenance
n
- Auxiliary plant servicing
n
- Heat exchange overhauls
n
- Wear component replacement
n

n

The 5 week schedule will include 1 week of medical & inductions (all time paid) and 4 weeks on the planned shut working 12hr shifts. Flights, meals & accomm will be provided.

n

Pay rate is negotiable based on experience,



in the range of $80-90/hr flat rate.

n

At times you will be required to wear a respirator while on site, so applicants must be willing to be clean shaven.

- Relevant fitting trade qualification
n
- Power station experience
n
- Current working at heights (within 2 years)
n
- Current confined space (within 2 years)
n
- High risk EWP and/or Forklift would be highly regarded
n
- Be willing to be clean shaven & wear a respirator
n
- Must be able to pass a pre employment medical and D&A; testing
n
- Be able to complete all mine site online induction requirements
