Key Duties • Erecting, testing and maintaining overhead and underground electrical wires and cables.
- Examining drawings, specifications and work sites to determine installation requirements and cable positioning.
- Installing and connecting electrical wires and cables to equipment and infrastructure.
- Adjusting, repairing and replacing faulty components and equipment.
- Testing and commissioning electrical systems using electronic testing instruments.
- Erecting, testing and maintaining aerial structures including steel lattice towers and steel/concrete poles.
- Performing construction and maintenance activities in accordance with safety, quality and project requirements.
About
You • Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrical Linesworker.
- Current Australian High Risk Work Licences/Tickets including: RB – Basic Rigging, DG – Dogging, WP – Elevating Work Platform, C6 – Crane Licence • Experience working on electrical transmission and/or distribution networks.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work in regional and remote locations.
