AustEnergy Electrical Services is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join our growing team in Wangara. This is a full time position working within the office and on site, with the possibility to help hands on when required. As our an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring electrical projects are running smoothly, safely and efficiently.
You will need to manage electricians and apprentices to meet programs and client expectations. This position would be great for an experienced tradesperson who is looking to get off the tools and take on a managing position or an experienced electrical supervisor wanting to take on multiple smaller projects. Our projects vary from construction in residential and commercial, renewable energy installations and shop fit outs.
Key responsibilities
- Project preparation from materials, equipment and scheduling planning
- On-site supervision, ensuring compliance and quality
- Reviewing documentation and specifications
- Job costings and progress tracking
- Technical support to the team
- Helping electricians on site with labour to meet project deadlines
- Building client relationships
- Quoting additional works and variations
- Communicating between field and office staff
What we're looking for
- A valid A-grade WA electrical license
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working as a qualified electrician
- Confidence in reading and interrupting construction plans and specifications
- Clear communication, good organization and time management
- Able to lead and run electrical projects
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and regulations
- A strong commitment to health and safety practices on site
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Valid manual drivers license
- Experience in commercial, residential electrical work and renewable energy is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Servicem8 or similar software
