Lead 2 Power is looking for a qualified and motivated Electrician to join our growing team.
This is a varied role suited to an electrician who enjoys more than doing the same work every day. You’ll work across generator systems, domestic service and maintenance, and small commercial projects, with opportunities to further develop your skills in generator controls, programming and fault finding.
The Role
Your work will include
Generator Systems
- Generator servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Generator controller programming and configuration
- Generator control systems and associated equipment
- Automatic and manual transfer systems
- Testing and commissioning
- Preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing generator starting, charging, control and electrical faults
Domestic Electrical
- General electrical service and maintenance
- Fault finding and repairs
- Switchboard and electrical upgrades
- Power and lighting installations
- Ceiling fans and other general electrical work
- Testing, compliance and preventative maintenance
Commercial Electrical
- Small commercial projects and installations
- Electrical maintenance and repairs
- Fault finding
- Equipment installation and upgrades
- Testing and commissioning
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds a current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence
- Has strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Takes pride in their workmanship
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Communicates professionally with customers
- Is reliable, organised and safety focused
- Holds a current Australian driver's licence
- Is comfortable working across a variety of environments and job types
Generator experience is highly regarded, particularly experience with generator controllers, programming, ATS systems and fault finding. However, applicants with strong electrical and diagnostic skills who are keen to develop their generator knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
