About the role The Employment Support Officer provides practical, structured job seeking and employment preparation support to clients under the direction and oversight of an experienced Consultant. The role supports clients to build job seeking skills, confidence and work readiness, while the supervising Consultant retains responsibility for case management, assessment, strategy, stakeholder management and overall service outcomes.

You will

- Build and maintain strong employer relationships
- Support clients with job readiness, applications, interview preparation, job applications and reverse marketing
- Conduct workplace visits to establish and maintain placements
- Support NDIS participants through structured employment pathways
- Drive sustainable return-to-work outcomes, and short-term placements





About you

- Practical understanding of contemporary job seeking methods, recruitment processes and employer expectations.
- Understanding of resume preparation, job applications, interviews and online job seeking platforms.
- Awareness of the barriers that injury, disability, health conditions or extended absence from work may create for job seekers.
- Understanding of professional boundaries and the importance of working under the direction of the supervising Consultant.
- Sound understanding of confidentiality, privacy, duty of care and accurate record keeping.
- Strong written and administrative skills, including accurate document preparation, spelling, formatting, data entry and case notes.
- Ability to manage scheduled client support activities, complete records promptly and meet agreed timeframes and service expectations.
- Confidence using computers, email, Microsoft Office and online employment platforms.
- A valid driver's licence.
- Access, without restriction, to a roadworthy vehicle during hours of work which is comprehensively insured.
- This role is primarily an on-site role, with off-site visits a common aspect of the role
